Tis´ beginning to feel a lot like Christmas – Flash Fiction

Molly folded in dried cranberries, candied cherries and orange peel with spiced Carribean rum prepping for the cake, a good month away.

´Perfect timing´, she thought before heading out to witness the first snowfall of the season. Molly spotted white tailed deers as she drove by the Nature Park in her hood.

Calling it a night, she sipped eggnog before curling up her toes under the blankets and dozing off to La-La-land.

She parted the blinds to bask in the sunlight, squealing in excitement. Like she did since a child, chancing upon perfectly sculpted icicles.

´Hello Christmas!´
