Back to Nature #FFFAW

Nikki felt most at home amidst Nature, basking in all its lush greenery and chirpy sounds. She got a high in getting her hands down and dirty, digging up the thickly fragrant mud from the Earth, freshly kissed by Rain.  She adored flowers of every hue and kind in the world.

Sahil watched with a dual sense of joy and pride his potted plants sprouting into the most glorious flowers.

It´s been five years since the tragic gruesome murder of his child. No plausible reasons!

She thrust her school paper in her father´s hand as he read out loud –

´When I grow up, I want to be a ……..Gardener´

Much to his amusement of course that day! Today, their balcony garden is a soothing balm to his deepest wounds. As he watered the plants every morning, he showered blessings on his daughter´s pure tender soul. He smiled, spoke and caressed them lovingly  just as she did.

Back to Nature, they cuddled in a beautiful reunion. This time, forever!

    1. Hi Joy! Thank you so much! The inspiration behind this one is loosely from the headlines donning India currently. Look it up if you are interested…the mysterious murder of Pradhyuman Thakur, Gurgaon, India in his school. Grief sometimes comes in the most horrific ways…but somehow you still manage to move on forward while cherishing and keeping alive just the beautiful memories. 🙂 Glad you liked this one. Keep reading! Love and Cheers!
